Drake's coming to Nashville

Normally, Nashville is always ignored. I don't blame anyone in particularly. To the rest of the world Nashville is the "country music capital of the world". But Nashville is more than country. I am beyond ecstatic that Drake is stopping here February 17th. It's going to be utterly rediculous. The Paradise Tour is focusing on the colleges. Which makes perfect sense. A huge base of Drake's fan base is college students.  It's really not rocket science.
Music is viral, and "word of the mouth" is king.  Nashville is home to Belmont, Vanderbilt, Tennessee State University, Middle Tennessee State University, and more.  Could this be a sign?  Could Nashville become a regular stop to big urban acts?  Who knows... I have Drake to look forward too, I'm not complaining.  ASAP Rocky and Kendrick Lamar are also on the bill.

College Budgetize Me: BoneLess Buffalo Wings

Life most certainly does give you lemons.    But Lemons cost money.  Food in general, cost a LOT of money.  Grocery stores stand on soap boxes to announce ‘extra low’ prices, but for who?   For the extra savvy soccer mom, or the well-established business man? These prices certainly aren’t low for college students.  Who wants to eat TV dinners all the time?  Your taste buds graduated too.  Are there no simplified, mature recipes for the college budget?  Yes there is, but the trick is go in with a budy or two.  For  only 12 Bucks, you and 2 friends can enjoy a massive amount of spicy tenders (4$ per person).  Check out this easy recipe below.

Ammunition:
  • Chicken 5.99 (Trick: Frozen chicken is always cheaper then fresh and can last a couple of weeks)
  • Flour  $2.00 or Less (Great Value)
  • Hot Sauce $1 (Dollar Store)
  • Vegetable Oil $2.50
  • Egg/Milk  $2.00 (If you want restaurant quality Crisp… We like Crisp!!)
Steps:
Step One:  Rinse Chicken and place in bowl.
Step Two:  With a sharp knife, slice chicken into slender, two inch chunks.
Step Three: Season the chicken with salt, pepper, onion powder.  It’s pretty much a free for all.  Anything Goes.  Do not over season.  The Chicken is well prepared once you can smell the seasonings.

Step Four:  (Optional: Dip chicken into egg and milk mixture before dipping in flour.)  Drop chicken in a bag/bowl of flour.  Shake until chicken will completely covered in flour.  (Think: Powdered Doughnuts)

Step Five:  Once the oil is heated (375 degrees), drop chicken into fryer.   Let chicken  cook for about 6-7 minutes or until it turns a crispy golden brown.

Step Six:  Drain Chicken, and drop into a bowl of hot sauce.  Use tongs, or sifter to shake excess sauce off.  Then Bon Appetite.
